Introduction

At Orbita Academic Press, all submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of published research.

The peer review process plays a critical role in maintaining the scientific credibility of the journals and improving the quality of scholarly communication.

Peer Review Model

Orbita Academic Press journals follow a Double-Blind Peer Review System.

In this system:

  • The authors do not know the identity of the reviewers
  • The reviewers do not know the identity of the authors

This process ensures an unbiased and fair evaluation of the submitted manuscript.

Initial Editorial Screening

After manuscript submission, the editorial office conducts an initial screening to check:

  • Scope and relevance of the manuscript
  • Basic formatting and structure
  • Plagiarism and originality
  • Ethical compliance

Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s basic requirements may be returned to the authors before peer review.

Reviewer Assignment

If the manuscript passes the initial screening, it is assigned to two or more independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field of study.

Reviewers are selected based on:

  • Subject expertise
  • Research background
  • Academic qualifications
  • Previous peer review experience

Review Process

During the peer review process, reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:

  • Scientific originality
  • Research methodology
  • Clarity and organization
  • Validity of results and conclusions
  • Relevance to the journal’s scope

Reviewers provide detailed comments and recommendations for improvement where necessary.

Editorial Decision

Based on reviewer feedback, the editorial board may make one of the following decisions:

  • Accept the manuscript
  • Minor revisions required
  • Major revisions required
  • Reject the manuscript

The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief or Handling Editor.

Revision Process

If revisions are requested, authors are expected to:

  • Address reviewer comments carefully
  • Provide a response to reviewer feedback
  • Submit the revised manuscript within the specified timeframe

The revised manuscript may be sent back to reviewers for further evaluation.

Review Timeline

Orbita Academic Press aims to provide a timely and efficient review process.

Typical timeline:

  • Initial editorial screening: 5–7 days
  • Peer review process: 2–4 weeks
  • Final editorial decision: 4–6 weeks

However, timelines may vary depending on reviewer availability and manuscript complexity.

Confidentiality

All manuscripts submitted for peer review are treated as confidential documents.

Editors and reviewers must not disclose or use unpublished information from submitted manuscripts for personal advantage.

Ethical Standards in Peer Review

Reviewers must:

  • Maintain objectivity and fairness
  • Avoid conflicts of interest
  • Provide constructive feedback
  • Respect confidentiality

Any ethical concerns during the review process should be reported to the editorial office.
