Before submitting to Emerging Trends in Biomedical Sciences, authors should ensure their manuscripts comply with the journal’s editorial policies and scope. Manuscripts must contribute original research or review work within the journal’s scope; see Aims & Scope for guidance.
The journal follows Open Access, publishing under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Copyright remains with authors. Submission implies that the manuscript has not been published previously or submitted elsewhere.
Authors are encouraged to check the Editorial Policies for guidance on scope, manuscript types, and publication ethics. The journal allows the use of AI tools only for language polishing, and their usage must be disclosed in the manuscript.
Authors must submit a cover letter explaining the study’s significance, novelty, and fit with the journal. Manuscripts from conferences or previously presented work must clearly state the event name, date, and location.

Authors must adhere to the Declaration of Helsinki and relevant local regulations. Misconduct, plagiarism, duplicate submissions, or data fabrication are prohibited. For detailed guidelines, refer to [Publication Ethics].

Non-qualifying contributors should be acknowledged but not listed as authors. AI cannot be listed as an author.
Authors may suggest up to three reviewers with full contact details and declare up to three reviewers to exclude with justification. Reviewers should have no conflict of interest.
Editors or staff submitting manuscripts undergo independent review by at least two external reviewers, with decisions made by unconflicted editors. See [Editorial Policies].
AI tools may only assist in language polishing (grammar, clarity, style). AI must not generate scientific content or interpret data. Usage must be disclosed in the methods section. AI cannot be listed as author.
All potential conflicts must be disclosed in the cover letter and manuscript. If none, state: “The authors declare no conflicts of interest.” See [Conflict of Interest Policy] for more.
All submissions undergo initial screening for scope and quality, followed by double-blind peer review. Editors make decisions: accept, revise, or reject. Compliance with manuscript formatting, referencing, and ethical guidelines is mandatory. Full details are available at [Editorial Process].
